On January 15, 2026, mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard will return to Carnegie Hall to curate their upcoming ‘Perspectives’ concert series.
The first concert will feature opera bass-baritone Ryan Speedo Green with Broadway baritone Jordan Donica for a program of works drawing from 30s and 40s composers such as Bernstein, Berlin, Porter, Rodgers, Price, Copland, Weill, and more. They will be accompanied by pianist John Arida.
Performance Date: January 15, 2026.
The series will continue with Yannick Nezet-Sequin and The Met Orchestra performing Barber’s ‘Knoxville: Summer of 1915’ and Bernstein’s ‘Somewhere’ from ‘West Side Story.’ Featuring Leonard as the soloist, this performance will also be part of Carnegie Hall’s ‘United in Sound’ series.
Performance Date: February 4, 2026.
Leonard will next appear alongside fellow Carnegie Hall Trustees for a gala performance celebrating the 50th anniversary of the venue’s ‘Concert of the Century.’ Conducted by Nezet-Seguin, the event features Emmanuel Ax, Joyce DiDonato, Michael Feinstein, Renee Fleming, Evgeny Kissin, Lang Lang, Audra McDonald, Daniil Trifonov, the NYO-USA All-Stars, and Oratorio Society of New York .
Performance Date: May 5, 2026.
The ‘Perspectives’ series will conclude with a program titled ‘An Evening with Isabel Leonard and Friends.’ Drawing from Spanish song, opera, and dance, the event will celebrate Leonard’s favorite roles, with choreography by flamenco dancer Sonia Olla and flamenco music sung by Ismael Fernandez.
