On December 21, 2026, mezzo-soprano Samantha Hankey will perform a program of Mozart and Handel works with Boston Baroque to send off the old year and welcome the new one.
Conducted by Marc Minkowski, the concert will feature selections such as Mozart’s ‘Symphony No. 1 in E-flat Major K.16’ the overture from ‘Der Schauspieldirecktor,’ and ‘Dove sono I bei momenti’ from “Le Nozze di Figaro.’ Handel’s ‘Water Music’ collection of suites will follow the intermission, and a musical surprise is mentioned on their website.
Held at Harvard’s Sanders Theatre, the program will be performed again the following night.
