The Chautauqua Opera Company has announced their 2026 Young Artists, comprised of 16 emerging singers.
Sopranos include Faith Adams, Sarah Rachel Bacani, Sydney Dardis, Sara Neally, and Kelsey Watts. Mezzo-sopranos are SarahAnn Duffy, Sarah Dyer-Jones, Audrianna Hughes, and Lindsey Weismann. Tenors are Tyrese Byrd, Gabriel Chona Rueda, and Ryan Michki. Baritones are Joel Clemens and Christopher Walters, with basses Brian Linares and Jared Peterson.
The young artists will receive workshop and performance opportunities ranging from smaller works to full-scale productions. Chautauqua’s 2026 season includes operas such as Mark Adamo’s ‘Sarah in the Theatre,’ Danika Loren and Royce Vavrek’s ‘Anne of Green Gables,’ Herschel Garfein’s ‘Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead,’ and more.
