On November 7, 2026, Ballets Jazz Montréal will make their Chicago debut at The Auditorium in a program titled ‘Dance Me: The Music of Leonard Cohen.’

Created under the supervision of artistic director Louis Robitaille, the work was approved by the Montréal-based Cohen before his passing in 2016. Choreographers for this work are Andonis Foniadakis, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and Ihsan Rustem, with staging by Eric Jean. Said to combine scenic, visual, musical, and choreographic writing, the work includes songs such as ‘Hallelujah,’ ‘Suzanne,’ So Long, Marianne,’ and more.
