The Boston Pops are set to celebrate the holidays with two special programs.
On December 30, they will present ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas: Live at the Symphony.’ Conducted by Damon Gupton, the concert will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the beloved ‘Peanuts’ special, featuring actors bringing the characters to life before large-screen animations.
The following night, December 31, The Pops will be joined by ‘Family Guy’ creator and jazz crooner Seth MacFarlane. Conducted by Joel McNeely, the program will draw from works from the Great American Songbook, as well as big-band standards.
