Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts has announced the appoint of Donald Borror to the newly-created position of Director, Pasculano Collaborative for Contemporary Dance. His four-year tenure began on December 2, 2025.

Created in March thanks to a record-breaking $50 million donation from Lynne and Richard Pasculano, the initiative is meant to bolster contemporary dance throughout the historic arts campus.

“It is the honor of a lifetime to join Lincoln Center to help develop this extraordinary venture,” said Donald Borror in a press release. “I am so inspired by the brilliant work of Shanta Thake and her team of visionary artists and administrators. As a young dancer and student on this campus at Juilliard decades ago, I never dreamed that someday I’d be in a position to shape such a phenomenal investment in contemporary dance—let alone with such dedicated colleagues and on the world’s best stages. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity to continue championing the power of contemporary dance and to help ensure our field’s bright and fearless future.”

Borror will work with LCPA figures such as Senior Vice President of Programming Jordana Leigh, Director of Contemporary Programs Meiyin Wang, and PCCD Guest Conductor Kyle Abraham. There are currently two yearly dance festivals being envisioned, along with resources and collaboration opportunities with local artists, companies, and more.

2026 programming and details will be announced at a later date.
