Kaatsbaan Cultural Park has announced the faculty and guest artists for their upcoming 2026 Kaatsbaan Ballet Intensive. Designed for dancers aged between 13 and 18, the intensive will run from June 22, through August 15, 2026.
KBI Artistic Director Paloma Herrera will be joined by resident instructors including Martine van Hamel, Kevin McKenzie, long-time returning teacher Lorin Mathis, Adrienne Schulte, Jessica Saund, Luciana Paris, and Beth Ferrell. Students will also work with choreographers such as Maria Konrad, Gemma Bond, Kelly King, and Jessica Lang.
The guest artists for the intensive include noted dancers such as Gillian Murphy, Rebecca Khohn, Christine Shevchenko, and Wendy Whelan.
The intensive will have four sessions:
Session 1: June 22 – July 4
Session 2: July 6 – July 18
Session 3: July 20 – August 1
Session 4: August 3 – 15
In-person auditions will be held on January 16-17 at Gibney Studios in New York City, with an additional audition being held on January 18 in Tivoli at Kaatsbaan.
