Little Opera theatre of ny to Celebrate Carlisle Floyd Centennial with ‘Wuthering Heights’

On November 19, 2026, the Little OPERA theatre of ny will present ‘Wuthering Heights.’

Composed by Carlisle Floyd after the novel by Emily Bronte, this production marks the first time the work has been revived in New York City since its premiere in 1959, and comes in part of a nationwide celebration of the composer’s centennial.

The cast will include sopranos Vanessa Isiguen and Sara Kennedy doubling the role of Cathy, mezzos Janara Kellerman and Margaret Lattimore as Nelly, soprano Teresa Casillo as Isabella, tenor Hayden Smith as Edgar, tenor Spencer Hamlin as Hindley, bass Bert K. Johnson as Earnshaw, and tenor Omar Bowey as Lockwood.

The creative team is comprised of conductor Richard Cordova, director Philip Shneidman, choreographer Elizabeth Roxas-Dobrish, fight director Brad Lemons, costume designer Lara de Bruijn, among others.

Held at the Loreto Theater of the Sheen Center for Thought & Culture, the production will run until November 22. Tickets will be available for purchase on LOTNY’s website on September 9.
