On May 9, 2026, New York Choral Society will present Gregory Spears’ ‘Requiem Reimagined.’
This piece blends Spears’ compositional style with Mozart’s iconic ‘Requiem,’ in an exploration of themes such as remembrance and peace. Music Director David Hayes leads a 150-voice chorus and full orchestra, featuring soloists Abigail Raiford, Erin Wagner, Jonghyun Park, and Brandon Cedel.
Chorus member and projectionist Camilla Tassi has created immersive lightning and sound designs to further create a unique experience.
