On May 29, 2026, New York Festival of Song will release their new album, ‘My Brother’s Keeper.’

The album is co-produced by baritone Justin Austin, and NYFOS Artistic Director Steven Blier. It explores themes of brotherhood, with leading Black vocalists including tenors Joshua Blue and Chaz’men Williams-Ali; baritones Will Liverman, Joseph Parrish, and Jorell Williams; and bass-baritone Alan Williams.

The program was first presented by NYFOS in 2024 at the Kaufman Music Center. Among the selections are works by Margaret Bonds, Steve Lutvak, H. Leslie Adams, William Grant Still, as well as Johannes Brahms, Richard Rodgers, and more. Before the album launch, Huddie Ledbetter’s ‘Sylvie’ will be released as a single on May 8.
